Before we founded Influnnt Cor, we were just chocolate lovers, enjoying tasting different types of chocolate and sometimes making our own to share with friends!
During the time we spent making and exploring, we discovered a limitation of traditional methods, especially with chocolate containing liquor. Over the last century, chocolatiers have tried to infuse liquor into chocolate using sugar coatings, syrup, and ganache. We always knew that liquor and chocolate were a perfect match, but they were never able to meet in their purest forms.
We knew it would be very difficult to put pure spirits into chocolate. Not only had it never been done before, it was also something that had never been thought of, as chocolatiers always tried to avoid water contact, since chocolate is very sensitive to water. However, as chocolate enthusiasts, we just knew that chocolate with pure liquor would taste fantastic—something we all wanted and looked for. This is what kept us working through countless experiments.
The result is remarkable! After many failures, we finally invented Cor Cor Chocolate—an exceptional and unique chocolate filled with pure spirits. It is an honor that our work has been recognized and granted funding from the Hong Kong Innovation and Technology Commission, which only awards patents with significant invention and technological elements.
